You’re gonna call me 17minutes AFTER the shift starts and ask me to work?
Honestly, it’d be nice to have the extra hours but that’s bullshit. I hate when people do that. I understand your sick - I don’t doubt that - but you had all day to call me. Just like you said, “I have the flu and I’ve been sick in bed all day.” &I mean, this is the second time you’ve been sick in the last two weeks. Get your immune system checked out. I mean, it would’ve taken me another hour to make it in and by then you wouldn’t have gotten anything done &I would’ve gotten bitched at in the morning for not have everything finished being that it is truck night. No one likes to work both truck nights - but honestly - if you would’ve called earlier, I probably would. That is seriously one of my biggest pet peeves.
